Agreed. I was raised Christian and I knew some really lovely Christians growing up, who understood that their beliefs were exactly that: their beliefs. But I don't understand what makes some Christians - or adherents to any religion, for that matter - think that everyone needs to share those beliefs, and moreover, make laws based on them.
