Aw Melissa, I think you're a really kind person! Your comments are always so thoughtful, and I can tell from your writing that you really care about other people and the world/environment. But anyway, I understand what you mean. When I was younger, I don't think I valued kindness as much as I do now. But like you said, I'll take someone who's "boring" and nice any day over someone who's inconsiderate, self-centered, volatile, etc.
