Great review, Ben. I haven't seen Doctor Sleep because I wasn't sure if I would like it. The Shining is one of the only horror movies that I really love, and I believe it's very much because of the incredible suspense Kubrick creates with the cinematography and pacing. But it's interesting that Stephen King didn't agree, I suppose it just differed too much from what he had in mind when he was writing - Kubrick wasn't known for his faithful adaptations or light touch!
