I absolutely hate the idea of hunting (regardless of the animal, I've never understood people wanting to go out and shoot deer or birds or rabbits either). But all the same, I can definitely understand why people in Botswana would be more than a little irked by Western countries calling them out for it, especially since as you said many of the buyers are from those countries
