I completely agree, it's not far off anymore at all. I think for our generation and a bit older, there may still be some people at least who have reservations about interacting with AI in this way. But for younger generations, they'll have grown up their entire lives having conversations with AI. It won't seem odd to them at all, and I have no doubt that they'll end up having relationships similar to "Her."
