I feel the same way about brutalist architecture. I remember when I moved to England how odd I found it, that there could be such beautiful historical buildings and then just a few blocks away a brutalist building. Definitely a shocking contrast. But, the history of Golden Lane Estate is very interesting, I didn't know much about it before!
