I found this incredibly interesting (as was the article you wrote a while back about Malaysian English!). I really enjoy learning more about Malaysian society when you write about it. Of course it's unfortunate that people are so quick to stereotype though - assuming that you went to a certain school or speak a certain language simply because of how you look :(
