I knew kids who would find ways to get alcohol at the liquor store, too - but they had to be sneaky about it. That's pretty shocking that they would sell to girls who were underage, and in cheer uniforms no less! Of course I'm not blaming you, you were only kids, but the fact that the adults working there didn't have qualms about it is upsetting.

I'm sorry that you had these experiences, but you've clearly learned a lot from them - and now you're able to help other people through your writing because of it :)
