I truly don't understand what motivates people to leave rude or offensive comments online. Maybe it's the anonymity of it. I haven't experienced that yet on Medium, but I'm sure I will sooner or later. It's really a shame. On the other hand, there are also some really lovely, supportive people. And, as you pointed out, if you can leave something kind, why wouldn't you?
