I was so sad when I saw that he had passed away. My first thought was that maybe he'd had a heart attack while in the hot tub, and then drowned as a result, but of course I have no idea really. I still haven't seen anything conclusive about the cause, and perhaps his family wants to keep it private, which I'd understand. RIP.
