I'm so sorry that this happened to you! Thank goodness your neighbor was there to stop it, and also that your family was there for you afterwards. I'm no psychologist, but based on my own experiences I would definitely say there could be some repressed trauma there, since it was such a violent and scary thing to have happen, and at such a young age.
