I'm still good friends with one of my exes, so I totally understand what you mean about people thinking it's weird or that you must still have feelings for each other or something, even though that isn't the case. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that Adam is moving away, but I'm sure that your friendship will endure, just as it has all these years :)
