Just Like Starting Over is a favorite of mine as well! I agree about it being wonderfully nostalgic in its style.

I can only imagine what it must have been like to actually hear on the news that John had been murdered. It must have been devastating. I was too little to really be aware of George's death either, but it still makes me really sad to think about. RIP.
