What a nice story, thank you for sharing it! I wonder what would motivate someone to steal mail. It doesn't seem like it would be a very valuable thing to steal, unless of course someone sent checks in the mail, but that isn't so common anymore. So is it an identity theft thing? Or are they just curious about other people's lives? Well, at any rate, I'm glad that the card eventually got to your friend!
