Wow, I hadn't ever heard of the floating islands on Lake Titicaca. Thanks so much for writing about this! It's pretty amazing that their construction methods are still the same after hundreds of years. Must be quite labor-intensive work, though, if they have to replace the reeds every couple of weeks.
