Yes I agree!! I don't mind if people want to fence off their gardens (although sometimes that seems like more hassle than it's worth), but I hate hearing about them trapping wild animals or putting toxic chemicals out to stop them from eating the plants. And just the general attitude that the animals are somehow evil and wreaking havoc on purpose. Like you said, they're just trying to live their lives, and they don't have any conception of property rights!
